We determine shot fall zone readiness by contour of land, soil composition, surface material, number of trap houses, previous lead recovery date, and the number of clay pigeons that have been transmitted since the most recent lead recovery date. Our site preparation process involves qualifying the terrain of a shot fall zone. Due to the heavy detail required in this process, we recommend allowing one to two weeks for site preparation before lead recovery begins.
