ALR services include the following:
We determine shot
fall zone readiness by contour of land, soil composition, surface
material, number of trap houses, previous lead recovery date, and the
number of clay pigeons that have been transmitted since the most
recent lead recovery date. Our site preparation process involves
qualifying the terrain of a shot fall zone. Due to the heavy detail
required in this process, we recommend allowing one to two weeks for
site preparation before lead recovery begins.
Our lead recovery performance standards are measured by factors including but not limited to timely completion, environmental sensitivity, lead recovery rates, and economic feasibility. Using heavy powered machinery and support equipment allows gun clubs thorough and efficient lead recovery of their shot fall zone.
The lead recovery
process for ALR includes a temperature based process that removes
impurities, polishes, and re-graphite's the reclaimed lead shot. Our
reclaimed shot has been pitted against new lead shot and has performed
to top standard every time. We offer special programs for gun clubs to
purchase reusable reclaimed shot.
Preparation for future lead recovery is a top priority of ALR. Recognizing environmental standards of maintenance and preservation, our lead recovery process includes an optional service us to have gun club shot fall zones prepared for future lead recovery.
ALR
has a number of other services that we offer to gun clubs including Youth
Program support, gun club building development, and tournament sponsorship.
